Hayley 247 Engineering Services moves up a gear through the acquisition of Drive Management Services

Dudley-based mechanical engineering services provider Hayley 247 Engineering Services Ltd, has acquired Rotherham-based Drive Management Services Ltd (DMS). The deal that completed on the 7th December 2018 will see DMS become an integral operation within Hayley 247, itself being part of leading UK industrial supply company Hayley Group.

Since becoming part of the €3.7b global industrial and construction supply group Descours & Cabaud in 2016, Hayley Group has seen a host of strategic acquisitions and an unprecedented level of investment. The acquisition of DMS by Hayley 247 forms part of a wider strategy to enhance service provision within the group.

DMS an engineering consultancy business was founded by drives and power transmission engineers Allan Findlow and Kevin Micklethwaite back in 2003. Having an impressive client list in its own right, DMS provides condition based monitoring, vibration analysis and oil monitoring systems and services that enable clients to improve their plant asset reliability, efficiency and deliver operational cost-savings.

DMS is seen as a natural extension to mechanical engineering services provider Hayley 247, who specialise in everything from industrial gearbox repair, general mechanical repairs, CNC machining to custom fabrication. The acquisition will enable Hayley 247 to enhance its offer to their clients and those serviced via Hayley Group’s 46-strong branch network.
