To improve awareness and understanding of condition-based monitoring (CBM) and enable self-sufficiency in operating CBM technologies and interpreting data, we provide a range of tailored training courses to meet our customers’ requirements. Sessions are delivered by one of our very own experienced engineers and provide a mix of classroom-based and ‘hands-on’ learning.
All courses can either take place on customer sites (attendee numbers permitting), at our training centre in Sheffield, or at locations such as regional hotels/conference facilities (longer courses only).
All courses held at our Sheffield site have a two-course lunch, drinks and snacks included as standard.
Regulated and Authorised Training
We offer regulated and authorised, on and off-site training in-line with the following training bodies.
PCN / ISO courses controlled in the UK by the BINDT. The course available are as follows:
- Introduction to Vibration Analysis – 2 days
- Vibration Analysis Category I – 4 days
- Vibration Analysis Category II – 5 days
- Vibration Analysis Category III – 5 days
Mobius Institute are a global training provider for reliability engineers. They have an array of training courses that cover topics including vibration, ultrasound and root cause analysis.
ICML, which is the International Council for Machinery Lubrication, are a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping lubrication practitioners succeed in their professional careers. ICML certification exams are administered in accordance with ISO 18436 and are available in multiple languages worldwide.
Additional Information
An optional certification exam is available for BINDT or Mobius Institute training courses.
Some pre-course study, including becoming familiar with some of the exams and the student workbook, is highly recommended. Several of our clients purchase extra handbooks for other members of their engineering team.
Online pre-and-post course tutorials are also available along with an online training manual. An accredited printed training manual is issued along with the latest VA Diagnostic Pocket & Reference Guide.
