Our team was tasked with the full inspection, repair, and upgrade of an 8-tonne high lift pump, a critical component in water distribution across London. The goal was to maximize efficiency, extend the pump’s lifespan, and reduce the total cost of ownership through comprehensive refurbishment and upgrades.

Scope of Work

To achieve the project’s objectives, our expert team carried out the following tasks:

  • Full inspection, repair, and upgrade of the high lift pump.
  • Application of Belzona 1341 ceramic efficiency coating to all internal water passageways, enhancing efficiency and reducing operational costs.
  • Reinstating running clearances in accordance with water industry mechanical and electrical specifications to optimise performance.
  • Upgrading the mechanical seal arrangement in collaboration with our trusted partner, Eagle Burgmann, a global leader in sealing technology.
  • Utilisation of in-house services, including grit blasting, coating, dynamic balancing, and machining, ensuring full control over the repair process.
